"Honest Thief," a Liam Neeson tough-guy flick shot in Worcester, is coming to theaters on Friday, Oct. 16.

The story is set in Boston, but the production crew spent a lot of time in Worcester shooting for the action film, which features explosions, car chases, and gun battles.

In the movie, Neeson plays a retired thief who wants to go straight. After meeting and falling in love with a woman, the thief no longer wants to live a life in hiding. He wants to confess his crimes and return $9 million to the government in exchange for leniency. When two law enforcement officials decide to skip the thief's confession and take the money for themselves, havoc ensues.
